This Augmented Reality application offers an evaluation experience for the Caterpillar 216B Series 3 Skid Steer Loader Machine in life-size scale, compatible with ARKit-supported smartphones and tablets.

Currently, the application features password protection, and users are encouraged to contact [email protected] to obtain login credentials for access and visualize the CAT® 216B3 machine.

This app showcases the Caterpillar 216 Series B3 Skid Steer Loader Machine model in real size through Augmented Reality technology. Before using the app, users are required to submit relevant customer information details.

To deploy the machine, users need to find a horizontal plane and scan it with their smartphone or tablet. Once a suitable surface is detected, the machine can be placed by tapping the screen. The on-screen menu provides navigation options to explore the machine's functionalities.

The menu includes actions such as Rotation Clockwise, Rotation Anti-Clockwise, Lift Arm Rise, Lift Arm Down, Bucket Open, Bucket Close, among others. Users can also adjust the scale (1x, 0.5x, 0.25x), re-scan to relocate the machine without exiting the app, and capture screenshots to share images of the virtual AR machine within a real environment.

The "Measure" button allows users to simulate obstructions in both horizontal and vertical planes to determine potential collisions when placing a real machine.
